Method 1: Use this free tool (fastest)
The quickest way to print an envelope is the free address printing tool. Type your addresses, pick the size, and press Print — no document to set up.
- Enter your return address in the top box.
- Enter the delivery address in the second box.
- Choose the envelope size that matches your stock.
- Load the envelope into your printer's manual feed tray.
- Press Print and check the placement.
Method 2: Print an envelope in Word
If you're already in Microsoft Word, printing on envelopes is built in under the Mailings tab. Here's how to print an envelope in word, step by step.
- Open Word and create a blank document.
- Go to Mailings → Envelopes.
- Type the delivery address and, optionally, a return address.
- Click Options and set the envelope size (e.g., #10).
- Load the envelope in the manual tray, flap side down.
- Click Print.
